Award entries closed, deferred to 2022
Update: New date set for ‘three in one’ 2020/21/22 CEEQA Gala – 18 May 2022.
With initial optimism about global rollout of a number of efficacious covid vaccines being swift and robust enough to enable a Spring 2021 return of the CEEQA Gala now fully receded, and with even an autumn date receding fast as the vaccine roll out – particularly in the EU – being far from the pre-planned shock-and-awe campaign to get the world back to life we might have been forgiven to expect, it is rapidly becoming clear that a Gala date any time this year is now receding out of view.
Therefore, with the full support and complicity of all our sponsors and partners, rather than launch the awards in the wild hope of a fitting conclusion some time later this year, then just present them online if by June it is clear a 2021 date won’t work (large international events are at the end of any covid recovery plan) , a firm decision has been taken to continue our strategy of conserving fuel, energy and time – our own and that of our delivery and commercial partners – and look to 2022 instead. Making another early call for the benefit of the market place and everyone involved.
What makes CEEQA uniquely trusted and valued in the market place is its focus on the integrity of the process and results.
Together with Deloitte we have worked tirelessly to develop and sustain the sector’s most trusted industry recognition, together with one of the most valued and high calibre market insight and business event cycles in European real estate. The awards are free to enter and the all aspects of the awards process are fully transparent and independent of any commercial participation or bias.
Free and fair selections
In its 17th year, the CEEQA awards are completely free to enter and are judged by a panel of the most senior representatives of market leading companies and organisations active in the sector, the CEEQA Jury.
Decisions are exclusively made by the elected members of the jury with no interference or intervention by the organiser, all aspects of the entry and judging process are closely supervised by Deloitte.
There’s only one Gala
The entries and judging cycle culminates in the CEEQA Gala on the new date of 18 May 2022. The sector’s main industry awards and flagship annual event never disappoints, its legendary champagne reception and after-party bookending its celebrated fine dining gala dinner and awards ceremony, and unrivalled networking and hospitality.
A must-attend for any serious property professional active in the CEE and SEE property markets, the CEEQA Gala attracts around 900 leaders in European and global real estate from more than 50 countries. Big business value combined with big production, recent world class entertainers have included The Boomtown Rats, Morcheeba, Macy Gray, Bonnie Tyler, Hot Chocolate, Kim Wilde, Bananarama, Edyta Gorniak & Adam Szaba and Sister Sledge… to name a few.
New CLIMATE EMERGENCY INNOVATION AWARDS
Our new 2020 awards are for technical and vision leadership in pursuing NetZero buildings and business in the CEE & SEE real estate market place, replacing our previous awards for Green Leadership in place since 2011.
