Eighth Annual CEEQA Gala pays tribute to fallen soldier
The eighth edition of the event was hosted in the newly renovated banqueting facilities of the Warsaw Marriott Hotel on 1-March 2011, the original 'real estate hotel' of Warsaw. Hosted by leading Polish television presenter Monika Richardson and CEEQA director Richard Hallward, the event highlighted the achievements over the sector year in 2010, presenting awards to the best real estate projects, companies and industry professionals of the year.

However the highlight of the evening was the tribute paid to Marcin Kania, a Partner of Colliers International in Warsaw, when the full house of 530 guests rose to offer a minute of applause for a life well led. Marcin Kania died recently in a tragic accident leaving a wife and 10 month old baby.
Guests were also treated to a stream of regional and international entertainment including Katrina Leskanich from Katrina & the Waves, UK blues sensation Errol Linton, all female rock band SheMoans, Poland's got Talent finalists Me Myself and I, European pole dance champion Hanka Veselaar and perennial CEEQA veteran Albert Kurowski.
