CEE Insight Forum has consistently led market opinion on key trends and issues affecting the CEE property markets, bringing together the sector's top business leaders, thought leaders and industry experts in a debate format focusing on specific areas, issues or trends that are shaping the flow of money and product in an increasingly diverse and vibrant market.
Knowledge and networking at its best
The events are held in major cities across emerging Europe. Providing deep and forward insight into the key issues, trends and operators driving the market, the events also present unparalleled business networking value, attracting the sector's most senior level of participants and audience.
Tightly structured topics, carefully selected speakers and a sharp half day format of strategy level presentations followed by an interactive round table discussion and debate serve to maximize information exchange and business networking value.
The forum itineraries are usually released a month prior to the event to enable delegates to prepare adequately and to fully participate, from presentation Q&As to interactive round table panel discussions. The events host a maximum of 200 delegates to ensure targeted and manageable senior level networking for all delegates. To ensure participation book early.
Scoping the market
The focus of CEE Insight Forum is on real estate investment activity across 18 countries in emerging Europe:
| CEE Markets: |
Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Lativa, Lithuania Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine |
| SEE Markets: |
Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia |
In 2004 CEE Insight Forum correctly called the move on the Baltic markets with Eye on the Baltics, in 2005 we pre-empted the run on the Warsaw residential market with Dream Time and in February 2006 we gave advance warning on the run on land prices in Central & Eastern Europe with Square Deals. In February 2007 our first Green Debate event was ahead of the global drive on sustainability while our CEE Retail Revolution event in Bucharest in October 2007 made an early stab at understanding the possible implications of the US sub-prime crisis for commercial real estate investment in the region, and in 2008 we led opinion on the impact of the global economic crisis on the sector with two Tropical Storm events in Budapest (October 2008) and Warsaw (February 2009). In November 2010 our Buying Signals event in Zagreb, focused on the southeast Europe markets, attracted widespread interest from investors contrary to popular opinion with around 150 top tier delegates, while CEE Insight Forum's second Green Debate event in March 2011 put the ethical case for green building to one side and led the charge on the business case, to strong acclaim.
