Rome wasn’t built in a day: Morcheeba does CEEQA 2018
One of the great UK bands of the 90s and having just completed their ninth album to be released in June, MORCHEEBA were class personified as they lifted this year’s CEEQA Gala crowd after dinner with a rally of their major hits including “The Sea“, “World Looking In“ and “Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day“. Skye has one of the most recognisable voices on the planet and hearing her smooth and effortless tone teamed with Ross’ psychedelic guitar was an unforgettable, spellbinding experience for Gala guests.
The eventual winners of the awards were announced at the 2018 CEEQA Gala on 25th April. Skanska Commercial Development Europe and CBRE enjoyed a night of triumph with a total of nine awards between them as Heitman’s Gordon Black received the sector’s garland award for Lifetime Achievement in real estate and Jeroen van der Toolen of Ghelamco was named the sector’s Industry Professional of the Year on a night of celebrations and surprises at the 15th edition of the sector’s flagship showcase as stylish UK band MORCHEEBA, Springbok rugby legend Percy Montgomery led an array entertainment highlights >> Full CEEQA 2018 review.
