Martin Holler

 Martin Holler is a founding partner of Giese & Partner and has served as lead counsel on numerous high-profile cross-border transactions. With over two decades of legal experience, he advises a wide range of clients – including international banks, listed companies, family-owned businesses, and financial investors – on complex legal matters across multiple jurisdictions. He also frequently acts as an arbitrator in international disputes. 

Martin’s expertise spans a broad spectrum of practice areas, including M&A, real estate, corporate law, employment law, litigation and arbitration, project financing, energy law, and pro bono cooperation. He is recognized as one of the Czech Republic’s leading legal experts in real estate projects, consistently ranked by Who’s Who Legal. He has been acknowledged by The Legal 500 as a “Recommended Lawyer” in real estate and construction (since 2017) and in banking, finance, and capital markets (since 2019). 

He played a key role in expanding the firm’s regional presence by opening Giese & Partner’s Bratislava office in 2009. His earlier career includes working at a prominent law firm in Frankfurt am Main. 

Martin is a member of several legal associations. He is admitted to practice law in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, and is an active member of the International Bar Association (IBA), whereas he regularly participates as panel speaker in the real estate section. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of DAV Tschechien.
