Aiming 4 NetZero feedback and feed-in meeting

With a little help from our friends

How is a building or company’s environmental performance efficiency measured, what is a modelled baseline, and what does a NetZero menu look like?

The decision to replace the longstanding CEEQA Green Leadership Awards and to excavate, devise and design the CEEQA 2020 Aiming 4 NetZero campaign, including the new Climate Emergency Innovation Awards and Aiming 4 NetZero  2020 Gala is our response to the changing tempo of sustainability in buildings and business and the drive towards NetZero. Once taken in December 2019, it was a race against the clock to excavate, devise and design the new award categories to the requisite professional standard for release in January 2020, and to prepare and research a wish-list of ideas to reduce the environmental footprint of the gala to as close to zero as possible.

Among the initiatives was a review of initial plans with a group of leading exponents of sustainable building and campaign marketing in the sector, who agreed to join  teams from CEEQA and Deloitte for a hastily video-conference meeting in early January.

We are deeply indebted to all who participated, and to our colleagues in the Sustainability Consulting Central Europe department at Deloitte with whom we worked closely to deliver on time and set the stage for another exciting and thought provoking CEEQA campaign.

As the campaign progresses we will post updates on our challenges and achievements, stay tuned for updates!
